I am the type of person who works on multiple projects at one time, and currently have about ten volumes I am writing on. When I write I usually do go back and forth on my different projects until one of them really draws me in, and I work on it exclusively until I have completed it, then I go back to work on the others again. Aside from my writing, I have a few music related projects I am working on, and as they develop I shall include information about them here as well. As forth to my writing, though, I shall only include information on the main volumes I am diligently working on.
Darker Shade of Heaven
'Darker Shade' is, for the most part, complete. I just have to make a few revisions and expand a little on some of the chapters, but otherwise it is finished. I'm hoping to have it released shortly after SoD. So perhaps a late spring to early summer 2009 release.
Being the sequel to 'Sanctuary of Darkness', this volume starts close to ten years after Titus leaves Warwick. His new adventure takes him to Naples, where he meets the alluring, Florence, the rogue slayer, Kendra, and the vampire, Leontes. With several new revelations, and new enemies he must face, 'Darker Shade' takes you a step further into the world of Titus McGuire.
Also, four other volumes are planned to follow this one in the 'Sanctuary Series', and I have begun work on them as well. They include, in order after DSoH, 'Other Side of the Night', 'Chorus of the Damned', Lost Angel's Lament' and 'Vampire's Lullaby'.
Fallen Angel
This is an idea I have been working on for quite sometime, a couple of years honestly. It is about a man who is in a fatal car accident and is believed to be dead until he mysteriously shows up at the side of the road one night two years later. One half of his body is marred and burnt, and he is shunned by part of society becuase of his appearance. The volume deals with church and acceptance, and tells the tale of how one man takes on a corrupt church to show that beauty is only skin deep and God loves us all, regardless of what's on the outside.
Other
Aside from these projects, I am still working on a companion CD to go along with SoD. Also, I have a few other volumes that I have been working on that I'm not as focused on as I am the ones mentioned above...'Twilight Masquerade' is one of these, falling into the background as other books spring forth in my mind and desire to be told. Not to worry, 'Twilight Masquerade' will still get its day, and Emerson dePriest will get his story told, but for now it shall have to wait.
